Hi Tim,
>Hmm, i like Leader, but 2 free ReRolls seems to be a bit much to me ...
Well, you can only use 1 leader reroll.
And between them they pay 40K for it, so it isn't exactly free either. :D

>Now if you want to add leader, how about a knight captain as the >teams "Big Guy" ... Something like:
[snip]

I can understand the statline. And I quite like it for a star player.
But I don't like roster humans with ST4 or AG4. I think it's kind of super-human.
Also, I prefer not to have a big guy on the team, for balance. I fact that I'm getting zero credit for when some people comment that the team is too good. :o
Thanks for the feedback.

Hi all,
well - the poll still points clearly to leader.
And it was my first choice. But now I'm leaning towards juggernaut.

Leader is cool and all - but the team is actually best at low TRs and then worsens as the league progresses. IMO, leader would make it even stronger at low TRs, without helping much at high TR, so maybe it isn't the right way to go.

The more I look at it, the more I like juggernaut.
As mentioned, I've always wanted a "charge" skill for the team, but horns was out of the question. Now that juggernaut is there for blitzing, I think it is a quite "bretonnian" skill. Nice for a running team too.

And juggernaut definately isn't a huge bonus - I mean, they already have block so it doesn't help against turnovers, and only one of them can use it every turn.
It certainly isn't better than multiple block, which is what we've playtested with so far.

Summing up: I'm leaning towards juggernaut.
Cheers :D

Hi all,
as mentioned above, I chose juggernaut over leader for style as well as balance reasons. If you're interested, you can see the team here:

The experienced and steadfast Questing Knight should obviously have Stand Firm, while the young and impetuous Knights Errant should have Tackle (and Pass Block to gain the favor of the fair damsels).
