New to Blood Bowl,sort of.

Post by Dino1626 »

I haven't played Blood Bowl in years, and I now have the urge to get back into it.I don't have anything from the game,or a whole lot of money. Can anyone here give me an idea of where I might be able to pick some stuff up without having to give up my left arm? I am working on some trades for a few things on HCRealms, but other than that I'm lost.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Dino

Well, you can Download teh rules for free on Bloodbowl.com (then click on Living Rule Book and new official rules). Then you could try to find some BBlers in your area (over on Bloodbowl.com there is also a Forum with a Bloodbowlers in your area Thread) to play with them (so you wont have to buy a new set right from the start). I myself dont have a set, but some friends of mine have.

If all else fails: ebay. You can buy either the new pitch (which is green) or the old one (which is Black and consists of three pieces of styropor). Both have the same measurement (26*15(?)).

Actually the old 2ed styrofoam (polystyrene) pitch is a bit smaller than the current pitch as the squares are smaller in size (though they have the same amount).

What's a left arm if it means you can play BB again?

all you need mate is a few figs - when i got back playing after YEARS away, most of the players used necromunda figs and just about anything going, and it was not too bad.

As above Ebay is a real source of value stuff - just bid on the last few hours if its the right price.
