Well, its a good start to the new year for the Ogres! On the blitz, the big guys have added another TD! A fabulous throw from Levinas saw Christmas Gobbo #9 sail over the defences of the Vampires, land perfectly, pick up the ball that was one square from the endzone, GFI and then slide over the line for a magnificent score. Go Ogres!

Can't do that

Thye ball hasn't landed on the blitz yet, you can place a gobbo underneath it to catch it as it drops (it drops at the start of the Vampires turn) but you can't catch it in middair.. sadly

At least that's how I always played it

Setup

Roll Kickoff
Scatter ball
Resolve Kickoff
Ball lands (and bounces if no-one is there to catch it)

this is correct, you cannot score on a blitz.

edit: do not rewind, just place players as they were.

If Trow Team mate is considered a pass action, then that would not even be possible, as you can only move and have one blitz. And only move the players that are not in a TZ.
Or are we still using LRB 3 for this game?

Still using LRB 3 since it's the only version that's current in the PBEM tool... err... I think....

I think (unless we want to over complicate things) we should play all the new rules but the kick off table. the other rule changes are easy to do manually.

I'm assuming the updated list of players and the play list is correct... What happened to Blue Devil? Did he get skipped somewhere as he should have sent the file to me 'cept it was Draco, so let me know where he should be in the new list

It's just new teams, old rules (ie dont need a TZ to guard)

keeps it clean and in with the tool.

put some gobbos on the wrong half in TZs
put a TZ on the ball
had to re-roll a blood thirst or either end up out of bounds or do a lot of 2TZ dodges

ended the turn on a both down against a gobbo
