Just for "conversionists" but there's some rather nice "Rat men" at Black tree design http://www.black-tree-design.com/btdcat ... =&tot=#top

I particularly like the Rat Ogres (Ver'M Ogres)

Looks like Black Tree has some decent figs and prices... but wow! That's like looking at Games Workshop in Bizarro-World! I'm surprised they didn't just call themselves "Hobby Toolshed" or something similar.

Place the URL for the image within Image tags (but without all the extra spaces in between):

[ img ] URL [ /img ]

Or just click on the "Img" button that's towards the right side of the row of buttons that appears under the subject-line box on the 'posting a reply' page -- click it once puts in the opening tag, clicking it again puts in the closing tag.

Also, for this or any other question, don't forget to check out the FAQ that's linked at the top of every single page.

I'll wait until the 5th of january.
so anyone can stil vote.

but it is almost certain to be tartan as the second think..

Bleached Bone and tartan
I think it is going to be a strange legacy team but very cool !
I just hope not to many people don't participate because they think they can't do a tarten that would be a pitty...
everyone should try !

I personally think tartan is a bad idea.

I know I can only speak for myself, but I'm not sure I can pull it off. I know that high quality painting is not necessarily what this exercise is about...but you are inviting disaster with the complex pattern.

I am also not sure that the rats have enough armour/cloth surface area for this to have a secondary color that is multi-color.

I'm down for any colors/positions...I just wanted to voice my opinion. (And my preferance...I'd like to do a Rat Ogre. Not sure how the models/positions will be distributed, but there is my choice if I have one. :) )

Whatever colours you want. You could base it one an actual tartan, there are some relatively simple ones out there.

Unless there's a big surge for Red, I think Tartan will be the colour of choice.

Too bad we can't change the team, tartan wearing dwarfs would be way cooler. Ah well, I guess tartan wearing vermin will have to do (please no anti-scots jokes from the English members of the forum.....you know you were all thinking it)
