Ok question....
I want to start playing blood bowl.
I have a team set up, the rule book printed out. but im missing these things.
The Dice, rulers and a pitch. I am currently making a pitch, but I need help with the rulers, what are the mesurements Etc? also do you guys have any tips on making balls and last but not least, what symbol appers twice on the dice.
Thank you for any help!

ok symbol that appears twice is the puch back result (the arrow)
making balls, the easiest way is with green stuff to roughly the right shape et voila. just let it harden and paint up. alternatively go to www.hereseyminiatures.co.uk and order some miniatures from there in the deathbowl range and they should send you a couple of free balls as well.
as for ranges i think it works out as first 3 ranges 100mm last one (long bomb) is 80mm there's a space that you put over the thrower which is around 40mm ish but not exactly sure about that.

You can find printable versions of the pitch over here:
http://www.geocities.com/pitch_witch/
or
http://www.bbowl.cjb.net/
Maybe there are also some range rulers and other tamplates.

For dice, ypu can use a D6:
1=Skull
2=Skull/Pow
3,4=Push
5=Push/Pow
6=Pow
played like this for ages ...

2=Skull/Pow

Not really. Just to show the difference, all dice have the same lay out. Let's just say SKULL equals 1, your block dice woul look like this:Tim wrote:For dice, ypu can use a D6:

Eh? You do know that different Block dice runs have different results on different faces, right? What difference does it make?Duke Jan wrote:Not really. AFAIK there isn't extra for shipping or anything. Its US$10 to join the NAF - and you'll get your dice in the post (eventually).Jazon1 wrote:Yea thats al very well to say only $10
But I live in new zealand that would cost just bit too much
Anyway - look on eBay for dice - I'd be surprised if including shipping etc you got a set substantially cheaper.
