2nd ed. DE Lino with dagger

Post by Bonehead »

I found this pic in the depths of my computer:

Does anybody know if this is an official BB miniature or is it just a conversion or a Warhammer mini?
It was sold at ebay some time back and the seller said it does not look like a conversion. I have never seen it anywhere else.
Do you guys know this one?

Reading my sig was by about three seconds of total waste of time.

Dagger? Obviosuly someone has predicted the size of secret weapons GW will produce at some point in the future.

Seriously, I haven't seen such a mini before. It looks like it had been painted and stripped again. If it's a conversion than the dagger arm should have been dropped off durinf the stripping process (but could be re-glued of course).

I'm not sure, the dagger looks just too large for a 2nd ed secret mini. I rather think that it's one of those BB to WFB conversions that pop up from time to time. I have seen 2nd ed BB minis from all races being abused into WFB rank & file

An example:

dagger is added from a dark elf hero after the C series (about '86) Good conversion but not that exciting.

I thought that dagger looked familiar, i'm pretty sure i've got that Dark Elf hero tucked away somewhere unless i've sold him on Ebay.

The short answer is "no", but it is a qualified "no" because there are odd ways of interpreting the question which could justify the answer "yes".
