Trojan War Figs?????

Post by tommy316 »

Anyone know where to find some GOOD Trojan figs???

I was thinking of converting some into a human team and painting them in the USC colors.

I would suggest the Dark Temple guard from our friends at Shadowforge.

Try under "Fantasy"

Those are ALMOST perfect!!!

But, I was looking for male figs.

Like to style and look of those, but don't want another female team.

There are also some GW Dogs of War guys that have a very Roman/Trojan feel. They are pikemen and most of them are lunging forward...sort of like a Blood Bowl player might!

I can not check GW's site from here, but they are in the Collector's Section of the Secialist Games section...and if I am not mistaken the weapons are not attached, so it might make for easier conversion.

There is also a cool new Mordheim special character that would make a good Blitzer/thrower conversion and would fit this team nicely.

Hope this helps...be sure to post pictures if you go with these guys. I love these models and would like to see how they turn out.
