well i did say you had to smash their team :D if you kick to them, they ots, then you take 2 8 turn drives they are going to be in some deep stuff if you smash effectivly, then you can try and defend vs 1 ots and you win 2-1, or tie 2-2, go to OT if allowed, and hope you win the toss!

yeah sure. but then, i hardly understand why someone would want to OTS on his first attack... takes away all the fun, really.

well, to each their own, i'd rather get a horns strip ball block GR and hope i get dauntless too, cause i'd rather put my points into defense with a team that can score fairly easy anyway, or VLL passblock, except any GR with VLL gets squished like a bug for fear of the mighty OTS :) I'm probably stupid to not want a OTS, but i just have confidence in 9 2 4 7 dodge to score anyway. (your overconfidence is your weakness)

throwing a bunch of dice with a 13 MA player is bland and no fun.
one-turning with MA7 to 9 requires skill and involves suspense and luck. that's the BB i like. throwing a bucket of dice to know if you won is WH, not BB.
that's what I think as well, but the way you stated it is not a way of stating an opinion but of saying that you-know-it's-bland-and-other-people-who-like-other-things-than-that-are-not-funny-and-need-to-be-attacked

Won't the OTS get in serious trouble of it's own accord. The speed he is getting SPP's will get him to age sooner or later. All the TD's are being made by the one turners, leaving the rest of the team without skills.
I would not use a OTS unless it would be very neccessary (ie last turn).
To me playing with two OTS players in one match is overkill. No tactics involved, hardly any defense possible. Deep defense is great but if the GR has AG 5 as well then there is hardly any defense possible.
Main skills to use are as Ian allready mentioned: Kick, Diving Tackle one square from the sidelines and if possible tackle in between.
And IF the GR falls down, have a dirty player in the middle of the line to be able to get to the spot where you can foul him. With AV 7 a stunned will be the least result you'll get, but probably more.
And if you show up with a OTS at The Korenbeurs in Utrecht I will rip of your head! (That will keep the OTS away!)

I have to agree that OTS is realy not cool.
but is one of the great advantages of some teams.
and after 2 seasons of not making OTS I tried it this time. it realy is very useful at some points.
In this match I just scored so much times OTS because I wanted both to skill up, they both only "just" became OTS and now they are both good.

yeah and he also has a AG 5 thrower so that about the long passes.. :-?

but reading all this could someone tell em very clear what the best starting lineup is again I haven't realy understand it I think :-? ?

just set up all your players 2 squares from the endzone you are defending, except the 3 line guys, and space them out, he will have to make 3 dodges, or try and knock down-push the guy on the end, which is pretty hard when you are 10 squares deep, but higher strength guys on the ends of the back line if possible. clear? :)

And if you have a pass blocker, he should be on the line of skirmish as well to try and get an interception or at least another TZ on the OTS.

put any pass blocker on the line, but be sure you are ok with them getting blocks thrown at them

The question is, will your opponent take the risk of getting the passblocker down, it might cost his precious RR.

BTW I use a pass block blitzer with Blodge, side step. So very annoying to your opponent! Now all I have to do is remember he HAS pass block! :-?

They're no fun, that's true. However they do have their use in countering another no-fun tactic, stalling. What good is stalling if your opponent has the last turn of the half and an OTT player.

If you don't use your OTT player to actually make those OTTs he's more likely to survive. He's more valuable as threat than actually scoring all the TDs and robbing your other players' valuable SPPs. Aging helps a lot with that. Still, all gutter runners must DIE!
