I just killed this bastard in our Bloodwieser championship game.
Two of the players watching the game put $5 bounty on him at the beginning of the game. Turn 6 first half.....DEAD. Quickest bounty ever collected in our league

What at first seemed to be a minor wound was battled, ultimately to no avail, by both the team apothecary and his own natural regenerative powers. As he succumbed to his wounds, he was heard to remark "me wonder if they have sandwiches.." A 21 Reuben salute is planned at his funeral.
Also dead is Zog Earbiter, one of the famous Earbiter family of Black orcs who make up the backbone of the Stompers, laid low by a certain personage who is well known in the pages of the obits, whose initials are Mn'T.
The Stompers official press release stated that the two died as part of a "cost saving initiative" spearheaded by management. However this reporter has learned that agents of the team are scouring the Eastern Wastes searching for a Troll with enough ability to step into Thag's rather large boots.

She got piling on back when it meant something. In the course of 45 games, she accrued 85 SPPs. 16 Touchdowns, 18 Casualties. Most importantly, she was always a factor in the game. If she was on the pitch, the opponents had to pay attention to her. In the end, it was her 6 AV that did her in, also the apothecary was drunk at the time.

After taking 5 games (yes 5!) to get her first SPP (a quick pass), and a futher 3 games to get enough for her first skill (2 TD's) she then managed to pick up 11 SPP's in her next 2 games. Alas, in her last game she was playing appalingly, and managed to kill herself whilst attempting to knock over a unskilled lineman.
A career that was seemingly about to blossom, cut cruely short.

Can I get an honorable mention for my Troll Eddie... he wasn't really that good, but he did get killed turn 8 second half by a Vampire Thrall doing a -2d block on him without any skills, killed through Apo & Regen.
Eddie was a beloved player, managing his first skill in his second game, after inflicting a massive four casualties in two games, he learned Guard. He was shortly thereafter killed by a Thrall in an act of vengeance for the Vampire he just crushed. The Thrall was overheard screaming something along the lines of "Just you watch me roll double pow and kill you, you bastard, you think your so tough!" (Opposing coach actually said it before doing it).
