hi all, just wondering if there are any other players of this wonderful game in the north east of england??? i play in a very small league of three players :( hope to hear from some fellow geordies to widen our range of oponents....

Hangus is from Hartlepool, I think. If you do a search on old subjects, I'm pretty sure you'll find a link asking the same question from a couple of months back.

its funny you should ask this as me and a friend have been thinking about running a tournie 'oop north' for a while, maybe 2005 would be a good time to launch the 'newcy brown cup'!!!??

sorry i posted on the general topic.

yeah was from durham / hartlepool area but now i am in london village but i pop up a bit if you fancy a game.

and you should sort out a tourny as the North east is crying out for one and you can put my name on the list to make it :D

well at the blood bowl in nottingham they were handing out free bottle of water (GW and free stuff!! :o ) i was thinking us 'ard northerners might hand out free bottles of the brown stuff!! (not that brown stuff!! i was meaning newcastle brown!)

Matt, We played at Spikey couple a years ago. You played Orcs (and damn well painted) v my Lizards.

You should get a tourney up there going. There are plenty of Northern based and plenty of us "southerners" who would love to come up there. I would go no question but check the calender to make sure it doesnt clash. Didnt see you at spikey last year...thought you might be there?
