Alternative bull centaurs

Post by horekim »

here are the bull centaurs I have converted for my chaos dwarf team. The bodies are old wood elf boars so actually they are boar centaurs 8)

I find that these fit better in size with the old chaos dwarves than the traditional bulls do.

I actually assembled an Hthark (or whatever his name is) yesterday and was surprised (negatively) with his size. I knew the pointy hat made him look stupid big, but it's the first time I've seen him assembled IRL.

What the hell did they think when that mini was sculpted? :(

I like those conversions of yours. I've been meaning to do the same thing, but I'd need some 2nd edition CD to cut up first. And maybe some legs to put them on. :D

Why does everybody cut up the thrower, I still need that one!

Great conversions though, the 2headed one is especially nice

They look great!
You should relocate the left hand of the double-headed one, so that it looks more natural.

you mean the right hand, right?
that one has a weird bent in the wrist (because it was holding a weapon)

I've been meaning to do something about that right hand all the time, but until now I've been too lazy. I think I'll try to reposition it tonight.

I have already, do a search and find out.

BTW, not trying to be a smart ass, but you will find that doing boar centaur conversions for CDs is something that has been done before.

Still, though not as original as you way have thought, the conversions are still quite good, job well done.
