Are there any online leagues my laptop can support?

However you play online - Java, Vassal, Email, Cyanide etc - talk about it here.
This is also the place for discussing the various tools for managing leagues, teams and so on.

Is that a Mac machine?

Iirc, PBeM will only run on Windows, and you need the Java tool version from BadMrMoJo's site to play Javabowl on a Mac.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

It runs SkiJunkie's JavaBBowl just fine. Link's in the .sig.

The version I host has an extra file which runs a little better than the .jar on macs. Otherwise, it's identical and that means that FranceBloodBowl and FUMBBL are available.

If you happen to have a copy of Virtual PC (it comes with Office 2004 Pro), you can run PBEM with it. While I certainly wouldn't recommend running out and buying a $300 piece of software and putting up with having Windows on your precious mac _just_ to play a freeware game, if you happen to have it...

Dredging this one up because any mac owners of the new intel machines will now be able to use either http://www.apple.com/macosx/bootcamp/ to be able to dual boot or even more intruigingly http://www.parallels.com/ where you can run any copy of windows from within OSX.

The parallels is a beta so no sound apparently as yet but if you are only interested in playing pbem then you have no need for sound. These two programs have pushed me into the 'going to get an apple next' camp especially as pbem B-Bowl can now be played even on a mac.
