It's that time again... new Reaper greens!

Post by Lahatiel »

Is it just me, or does Moandain the Lich look vaguely familiar? ;)

A little non-standard, but Railor, Forgotten Soul could be interesting:

I have a feeling the Grave Horror will look Bad. Ass. with an expert paint job:
Image

All these undead, you need Vulthus Oathcroak as your necromancer:
Image

All of that, plus... a Leprechaun, too?!?

There are still two more figs on the Most Recent Greens page -- a kind of skeleton centaur, and another leprechaun... but I figured I'd used enough bandwidth for one post, already. ;)

Man, thats some (more) nice figs for a Necro/Undead team.

Tell me about it! ;)

Do you know how many Reaper undead figs I already own for a team? First I got an entire Undead team's worth of Reaper, with 2 figures for mummies and 4 for wights. then they cut the wights back to 2... then they split the undead in to Khemri and Necro. (Yeah, I know nothing's stopping me from using the original undead roster still, but c'mon -- no one does that anymore!) So I set aside my skellies and mummies and the extra wraiths (they were to be wights), and pick up some wolves and flesh golems. Oh, and in the meantime, Reaper made a sweet new actual wight, so I got those to replace the wraiths I'd already had in the first place... all of this, while I've never actually even touched any of the original figures in the first place! So far, I think I'm at already owning 26 players -- not counting staff, just players -- for a 16-man team, that who's work doesn't even make it onto the first page of my current miniatures-projects "to do" list.

*sigh*

I really have to stop shouting, "Ooh, shiny!" and pulling out the credit card number, every time Reaper puts new figures into production... ;)

Not more figs that have no resemblance to Blood Bowl.

Out of the five images I actually linked into the thread, I would use four out of the five in Blood Bowl without hesitation. (I don't play any other games, so BB is all I care about.) Judging by the other responses here, as well as in past Reaper threads, I'd say a lot of other people on here agree with me, too.

If you don't like looking at the Reaper figs because you don't see the same Blood Bowl applicability as everyone else, you can always choose to not look at them -- we put "Reaper greens" in the subject line for a reason! ;)

I love that Grave Horror. That would make an awesome big guy. Just need to make some minor alterations.

Once these come out, I'll definitely be getting him and, assuming I haven't already gotten around to my Reaper Necros by then, Moandain... and chances are that I won't have done so, since these should already be out with 3-4 months! ;)

Yeah, Moandain has that book on his belt, but I have a dremel. *shrug* I win.

I LOVE the lephrachauns. I have an old citadel leprechaun sitting around that I was going to use on a halfling team, and these guys seem like the perfect teamates! The one on the pot of gold would make a great coach.

[Wayne's World]I am the leprechaun[/Wayne's World]... cool.

Might order some of them, I am looking for some additions to a Necro-team, having 2 DO werewolves and all (or was that 4 ?? :) ).

If nothing else, get a bunch of the leprechauns to be your reroll counters! :D C'mon, it's a leprechaun with a freakin' four-leaf clover -- how much luckier can your reroll hope to get?!? ;)

Actually it is a 3 leaf clover...but that doesn't lessen the effect!!

Is it me or does the Grave Horror have leaves and grass on him? Or is it hair? I can't tell. If they are leaves and graa, he could be an unusual looking Treeman with some minor modification.

I like them!
