'Roaches

Post by duff »

Deep in the sewers of the magic schools, a race of humanoid cockroaches formed. Little by little they spread, eating the things others threw away. One day they found a copy of NUFFL's rules. Now the're here to play!

1-16 Roaches 50K 6 2 3 6 Foul Ap, Stunty and dodge. Agility skills only.

Everyone would have to run the ball against them. On the bright side, everybody should be able to! With st 2 and armor 6 and the stunty effect on injury rolls, only foul app will keep them on the field.

That's pretty neat and also hilarious.

Dirty Player on doubles?

I think they should have access to mutations..can you imagine a two headed cockroach or one with very long legs?

Yuck!

I aggree give em mutation access, it's the only hope the little buggers have.

THat and/or design a pair of Bigguys for them (they are a stunty team after all.)

teenage mutant sewer crocs? (0-2)
4 5 1 9 Mighty Blow, Frenzy, Wild Animal. 100k

Mutations does have a certin, icky appeal. I wanted to avoid the big guys, the foul app will give some protection still.

I get the impression the nurgle team is very specificly short of this sort of high mobility player, so it would probably cause balance issues. Also, I don't see them as particularly chaos related, just warped and icky! They proabably have their own strange chitonous gods.

Nah, roaches aren't mutated. Icky? Yeah. Mutants? No.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

well if no mutations then i definitly recomend they have 2 bigguys, but low end big guys like to ones i made.
It'd raise them from the weakest team, to a weak team.

Big Guys with regeneration. (Maybe medium guys would be more appropriate. ST4)
or access to mutations one or the other.

If you really wanted to make them hard to kill, you could give them all regenerate and thick skull. They'll fall over but rarely will they be gone for good.
