Yeah I agree, but if there are odd numbers I'll be sitting out, so could play as a stand in until Chris arrives. But I won't know that until registration closes so for now I don't think we can do that.

I have to admit that from my purely personal point of view I think it is a bit of a stinker to plan to miss half of a tourney to go and see a different event. :-?

If I wanted to go to Salute, I'd go to Salute (I have done in the past and a great time was had :) ). It is the kind of event that you really want to spend alot of time at, chatting and looking around for ages at all the cool stuff.

If I wanted to go to a BB tourney, I'd go to a BB tourney. I'd meet up with a bunch of guys on the Friday, play the first three games on the Saturday and then go out and have a meal/beers with the guys and then try for a come-back on the Sunday (  ).

I'm not having a go at anyone, just my feelings as if you only attend half the games in an event then someone has to fill in for the games you're absent for... :-?

Have to agree with dwarf/lizard/skavencoach here, if you wanna go BB, go BB, if you wanna Salute, then Salute, but why should some poor bloke who has paid his cash have to sit out half a tourney, just because someone else wants his cake and wants to eat it too.

It's either Bloodbowl, or not Bloodbowl. Make up your mind

Oh, and i also agree with Darkson

DC will do fine Hoom' ( ).

I suppose as Al has already said there would be guys who could stand in but I just don't think it would be the same...

Well, last year I had to bite my hand in frustration as my girlfriend wanted to 'talk' with me meaning I missed two games when i was all set with my block dodge werewolf! Arg! Hmm, perhaps I could have a cunning excuse - except curse my good marital relations!

I've already committed to going along to Salute, so I can't make the tournament. If it was okay, I might drop by and see what is happening, but I certainly wouldn't expect to be involved in the actual tournament. If I managed to wrangle a one-off game I'd be more than happy! :D

That may actually work out quite well as I'm sure one or two of the tourney organisers would appreciate a game (especially as it would count towards their NAF ranking as it is a game that takes place at an NAF sanctioned event... )
