tentacle pink paint...does wonders

edit: forgot, you need to follow that up with a purple ink wash (dip them in the paint then wash in the ink)

Dettol will also strip plastic so no need to destroy a perfectly good base in the process.

If someone was bored they could do a search for all the times this was asked, collect all the suggestions and then put the post in the archive.

Acetone works good for metal minis, but acetone-free nailpolish remover works fine also... maybe even better. check the DA-drogist, it's in a purple-ish bottle. Use an old toothbrush to remove the paint, and rinse them with a warm soapy water after tha. You dont want acetone on you miniature when you undercaot them again !!
You can use this (acetone-free nailpolish remover) for plastics, but check the minis every.. minute or so, they get a bit soft. Plastics shouldnt be in there for more that 5 minutes I guess.

Remove the bases also, if possible.

Good luck !

I believe there is a sticky at the head of each section on TBB titled "code of conduct"

One part of it reads as follows.....

Don't forget to prepare your minis for stripping properly.
To do this, spray them with skull white first.

I don't know what you cry, but normal tears won't get rid of any paint (well, maybe water-based but you'd have to cry rivers...)
