Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Legs

Post by Bevan »

I don't think the face masks have anything to do with it. In my set the two elves labelled "Blitzer" were those with their legs apart, whereas the line elves all have their legs close together. The Blitzers also have at least one arm slightly raised whereas the line elves have both arms aimed down or close to the body.

However, I decided I could never expect any opponent to pick the difference so I use my Blitzers as extra line elves and am using Warhammer Wardancers as the Blitzers.

I didn't like the thrower because it is impossible to see the ball from the back so he looks just like another line elf (or possibly Blitzer), so other Wardancer figures have been given a ball to take the place of the throwers.

The blitzer figures are the ones with full facemasks; there are two lineman with no masks, and two with half-masks. There are also three lineman in running poses with legs closer together, and one standing with feet apart. There's one blitzer running with feet close, and one standing with feet around. The blitzers who's running has his arms in the same position as the three linemen who are running, and the standing blitzer's arms are the same as the standing lineman. So the full facemask, as opposed to none or half, is the most distinguishing feature... which is crap.

I still say just replace them; either by position, like Bevan has... or better yet, the entire team. ;)
