Amazons: Blitzers or Linewomen on LOS?
I've been considering the defensive setup of my amazons lately. And I cannot really decide if I want my blitzers on the LOS or ordinary linewomen.
I'd prefer a classic 3-4-4 with a blitzer in each wide zone, and 2 in the middle, so they're kept out of harm's way, and use non-skilled linewomen on the LOS (as upgraded zombies), but then I often find myself with a knocked-down LOS and a big gaping hole in the middle. AV7 on the linewomen could also mean that I get a KO or BH right away, leaving me outnumbered from the very start...
What do other amazon coaches use on the LOS?

Hi there,
I mostly put Linewomen on the LOS as they are so much cheaper and the Dodge-Skill protetcts them somewhat (as long as you're not playing against Dwarves
...).
If your opponent doesn't have any players with Tackle I might consider putting Blitzers on the LOS, but for me Linewomen are the way to go. Within a few games you should have several Blodge-Linos so you don't have to worry so much anymore
.
Cheers,
Tante Käthe.

I would probably change your setup. 3 on the LOS, then 2 squares back form an even line of seven girls next to each other, 2 in the middle of each endzone and the remaining 4 in the center, one square apart each. That will give you a backup against the hole in the middle while it still requires extensive dodging to pass your line. Strong opposition might try an d break through one of the wings, but might quickly be covered if you move players from the middle around.

sorry if it has been said already, but Blitzers are 90k and are likely to have very useful skills like Guard, which are better kept in the back (so that you can move them where required). also, players on the LoS are the easiest to foul to death (plenty of people already there for assists, many opportunities to block and thus knock over). and you don't want your Blitzer to get fouled out on turn 1, do you ? =)

dead easy...
if you are a fighting coach put 5 on los and 2 blitzers on wings
>decent powerfull line that will require loads of effort to put down and ensure a fighting drive
or if you are a more resevered positional player 3line on scrim and 4 blitzers cover midfield behind the line.
---------------
i would say that i chaneg my formation against EVERY team so its a bit silly to set a hard and fast rule

hmmm, i really don't know... as a general rule, in the most generic case, you want to put 3 and only 3 players on the LoS. any more and that's free blocks for your opponent. even if you put 4 Black Orcs there, your opponent can have good block opportunities without committing more than 4 players (by committing i mean using their action to block or to come to assist). of course, when playing against no Guard/Dauntless, if you have 4 BOBs with Guard, you can stack the LoS with them and be fairly cool =)
still, in _most_ cases, you don't want to offer your opponent more than 3 free blocks.
