Dungeonbowl Pitch Completed

Post by Torpor »

I have completed my Winter project which was to build a 2nd Edition Dungeonbowl pitch using Hirst moulds. The link to it is http://www.geocities.com/faintlym/DungeonFinal.html

To celebrate it being finished, I am having a contest similar to Traveller's one when he finished his Streetbowl pitch - Guess closest to the weight of the project without going over (in kilos please) and you will win a painted Treasure Chest like you see in the pictures. The closest result posted over on the NAF site (bloodbowl.net) by noon on the 15th March, 2005 will be the winner.

Enjoy

THAT is a gorgeous Dungeon Bowl Pitch! Excellent job! I'm going to guess at 19 Kilos ( Its a very rough guess, I'm on the metric system for everything but weight  )

well done !

I knew, what kind of work is involved in a project like yours.

A pity i will not visit the BB this year... so you have to bring it to the next year DungeonBowl at Cologne ?! Once i have to play a DungeonBowl game, too !

About the weight... hm, quite big surfaces, strong walls... i dont want to travel with this monster! ... hard to guess... hm, i say 22,5 kilo.

Hoomin-
You are more than welcome to play a match with the pitch. I am not sure how many matches I personally will be able to play on Friday night, but I am more than willing to let others use the pitch. I know that so far Frank, Ithilkir, you and me are queued to play. As the evening goes on, I am sure others will want to get in on the act. Remember Dungeonbowl is played to the first score, so the games can be quite quick (or very, very slow...)

PS If you look on the NAF site, your guess is very close to the next one up on the bracketing. I am not sure if you want to take another try to get a bit more range. :)
