I have a similar experience with Norse. They do very well at low TR (first league games, tournaments), but once they reach around TR200 they really lose ground.

The main problem with Norse is that they are skill heavy, but the statline is very poor. While the other teams have no problems to gain skills once they gain experience, Norse have only a very slight chance to improve their stat lines (and no chance at all to improve their armour).

So after the opposition has caught up with the all-Block Norse lineup skill wise, the tougher teams easily outbash them (once both sides have block and tackle, it's only the AV - and MB/claw/rsc that counts) and the faster team easily outrun them. A lucky Norse team with a couple of AG+, MV+ and maybe even a ST+ can compete much longer, but if you lack those, your team's career is likely to end around TR200. With the vault rules that might change, because then you can keep your TR around 180 having a VERY decent team and fill up on inducements to level ground.
