Very true but same goes for minotaur plus that if he fails to move when needed he still has his tackle zone with him and does not leave a huge glaring hole.

To move a really stupid player one might also have to move a guy close and thus might be force to lose a key position unless you are willing to risk the TZ loss.

I rather go mino, and I guess it is a personal prefence. Also a ST5+horns+frenzy blitz is pretty nice to open big holes with. Despite the possibility of turnovers.

Last, minotaurs go in chaos dwarf spirit more than trolls due to the bull-factor they come packaged with...

1) we're not talking about 'flavour' or minis here, i mean, it's about "tactics" =/ so i'm not saying a mino isn't more fun or doesn't have more flavour, i'm saying a troll is better =)
2) a minotaur needs a 4+ to move, a troll 2+. a Troll has AV9, a Mino AV8. A Troll has Regen, not a Mino.
3) you rarely need to move someone close to the troll cause you are playing chaos dwarves with MA4. i have yet to see dwarves escape so fast that the troll couldn't follow along.
4) you have dwarves and bull centaurs, why the hell would you want to risk your blitz with a mino ?

Troll all the way. As soon as you think of big guys as valuable players is they day they screw you over and you lose.

If you're into defense (and winning) take the troll. If you're into scoring cas and failing lotsa WA and double skull take the mino.

Granted the fluff is better to have a mino, I just dont like them at all.

And the break tackle issue. I'd take it if on a stand firm CD :) That said, even if I'd have to have gaurd and mightyblow first.
