Pearly Kings and Queens' Mini

Post by Geggster »

The Pearly Kings and Queens' Organisers would like to annouce their "Limited Edition" mini for the forthcoming event.

This mini has low-production amounts and I understand will mostly be available only to attendees. Don't worry, we have some spaces left.

Here it is, sculpted by Mike Thorp, aka Fubar;

Pierre Luigi Collander, apparently

Didn't you dare to call him "Collina" due to trademark reasons...? :wink:

I didn't call him anything.

This is Mike's creation.

It looks even better in the flesh, so to speak.

Ok, sorry for not hitting your sense of humour. I just wanted to point out that the guy's name you were referring to is "Collina" not "Collander".

hehe...perfect....I'll be bringing my Halfling team to the PK&Q....does that mean I automatically get the ref for all my games?.....I mean since the Flings are not allowed to get extra ingredients, which I believe is VERY UNFAIR for the little guys ;)

You can thank Norse for the name, and the original concept for the model (although he was wanting him to be armed with a fish :D ).

There were meant to be about 75 copies cast up, but at the moment there are only 32 copies in existence... hopefully that'll be remedied in time for the tournament! Suffice to say there will never be many of this guy running around!

Oh, and Tojurub, I can't imagine Pierre Luigi Collander playing favours, even with his own kinsmen :wink:

Maybe, if you're interested in giving him a name remembering the Italian referee, could be useeful to you to know that "Collina", in Italian, means "Hill" :wink:

So, something like Pierre Luis Hill could be good... but also Collander is funny! :lol:
