I am planning to build a DE team based on mostly dark eldar miniatures. I will use Hellions for my linemen. However, there are only three models and I will need 10 or so. I am not too fond of their heads, so I am planning to snip those off and replace with another type of head, perhaps helmeted. So, I now need help finding some cool heads, preferably plastics that I can either order, or trade with other people.
Any other suggestions are welcome too.
Need help with Dark elves mini's

There are some nice plastic elf heads out there. Check out the various plastic regiments. There are some cool metal ones that you can get from mail order:
Black Guardian heads:

(about half way down)
The Mordheim Pitfighters had a cool Elf head too.

Well, I have been using the plastic dark elf regiment heads for my DE linemen - they're good, but I suppose its a bit excessive to buy an entire regiment box just for the heads
Here is a quick pic of one of the linemen (sorry about the quality)

I am also about to attempt to use dark elf black guard heads for my blitzers, ( http://uk.games-workshop.com/storefront ... orignav=13 ) but I can see a LOT of sawing and filing coming up... I dunno whether they will work or not...
I like the idea of using hellions though, good luck with that!

Thanks for the tips. Those Guardian heads are neat, but since I have used a 40k body I would like to find a fantasy helmet to tie the team closer to the fantasy world. I don't want them to look like space elves.
rochallor: that lineman is very inspirational, thank you. I might be able to find a elf player that I can trade bits with.
My biggest prob is that I am not very familiar with the fantasy range of models.
The dark elf black guard are truly gorgeous, but taking their head off without damaging everything would be quite a chore.
Thank you both for your tips.
