I suggest orcs, humans always has to explore the weakness of the opposition and requires a trained eye to minimize the dodging. Orcs can get a solid midfield with 4 black orcs and having Av9 means that much fewer players. Sure they are slower but by slowing down the pace of the game will you have a much easier time figuring out what to do next since you can focus on one thing (your cage or push along the sidelines).

I agree, human teams are the best starter team out there, followed closely by Orcs. There's a reason why both came in the boxed set...
