Hopefully there won't be new "Pro Human" team roster rules to accomodate the new figs.
The human team is already Pro. With the elves it was because well, dude, high elves suck (I mean, the background and stuff)

When can we expect these then? I was saving for an elf team but I may have to wait now for these guys!! They look great!

I like the spikes a lot. I always did like spikey looking bloodbowl players. My current human team has all the eagles removed and replaced by spikes anyway.

8) I think I have a decenting opinion, and do not like them all that much now that I have seen the detail highlighted with paint. They are too modern for my taste in a 'fantasy setting'.

They remind me of a Mad Maxx meets old school 60s football. The helmets without face bars remind me of old motor cycle helmets like the Fonz from Happy Days wore. Now in another setting, like 'Thunderdome Ball', these minis would work, but for me, the equipment is too modern and post apocolyptic in style and feel.

Just my $0.02. :-?

TTFN,

John

That's exactly the feel I like for the minis :) Back to 'old school' style with spikes, studs and mohawks! :) I'll be picking up a set of these when they become available for sure... Even if I don't play Humans :(

I'm of a mind with Ithilkir on this one. I have a human team (well, Nuns) and another half painted (Phigs Desert Dogs) but I'll still buy these. I need a few bits and bobs from GW anyway...this will make the mail order worth it.

I like them a lot, exept the blitzers (runners) : they seems to be to "heavy" to be fast and i don t like the "knife) they got in their hands. Apart from that i like the team and will buy it, perhaps i will replace the blitzers with other figs.

Well AFAIK the team is due for a UK release in June. So I don't know how that would work out.

Aly Morrison is working on a Dwarf team.
