They want us to buy two griffs; one with the chicken head and one with the normal head... I guess...omnimutant wrote:Are there still 4 Catchers? I can kinda understand the 3 blitzers wanting you to buy Griff, except that people usually HIRE griff so they can have 5 blitzers! The Mini's look awsome but why couldn't they just make a standard 16 man team with all the positionals filled? (ogre too)

it does give an idea of the scale tho

Set the camera on a table (stack some books under it if necessary, or use a tripod if you have one - those wee table-top ones are handy), turn off the flash, set it up in daylight if poss (or a few desk lamps) and use the self-timer if it has one. That way, you'll get no flash reflection nor a blurry shot.

Can't wait to see some more pics but as i'll be getting them anyway I'll see how they look for real soon enough. Hopefully they'll get them available for the Blood Bowl, i'm not going myself but I know someone who is and it'll save on the ridiculous GW postage charge - I won't hold my breath though.
Shame there's no fourth Blitzer, probably means i'll have to do an order for another one anyway and repose him a bit. Still having the rest of the positionals on the team is a step in the right direction.
I hope all the new teams look as good as this when they eventually arrive.

The short answer is "no", but it is a qualified "no" because there are odd ways of interpreting the question which could justify the answer "yes".

I can confirm the box contains 4 blitzers, 4 catchers, 2 throwers & 6 line men.
Jervis is trying to ensure they are going to be on sale at the Blood Bowl too - but it isn't up to him its the event's teams call. I'd suggest those of you going email who ever is responsible and ask if they are going to be on sale and if there is a stand

That's bloody nice. You can do a 'typical' starting lineup easily enough with just the basic boxed set which is great. I'll probably thrown in an Ogre just to give me a full range of options though, naturally
DS, any word on whether these are plastics or metal? I get the distinct impression they're plastics, but wanted to be sure.
cheers.
