Fourth game done.
I got relentlessly pounded by the Dwarves in Game Three, largely because we used the wrong handicap table and he rolled "Running Late" and I ran the first drive 5 men short (being Dwarves, the first drive = the first half). I could have evened the score in the second half, turn 8, but didn't manage to get a pushback on a two-die block. Skull and both-down without block. Gaaah.
Last game was a 2-0 victory over some High Elves, but they killed my blodging Ghoul. I bought a new one, and now have full positionals.
One WW with block, one with nothing, one FG with +MV, one FG with block, one wight with Strip Ball, one with nothing, one ghoul with +ST, one with nothing, and one zombie with block. And a bunch of other zombies.
3 RR and a TR of around 145. Feeling pretty good. Would have been nice NOT to have lost that ghoul, but whatever. It happens.
Having terrible, terrible luck with casualties. I rolled at least 10 KOs and 10 stuns against the Helves last game, with only one BH and one death (apothecaried). OTOH, I'm 5/6 on Regen rolls, which has saved me SI and death on four zombies and a FG so far.
By the next time we play, that Dwarf team is going to have at least eight Guard players. I'm pretty damn worried.

Update:
Beat Helves 2-0, which felt pretty good, but no SPs to speak of in the last three games -- damn Elves just kept getting KOd and stunned. Unfortunately, the Helves killed my blodging ghoul. Bought a replacement.
And in my last game, against some Rotters, the Rotters could do no wrong -- 12/12 blocks in the first two turns -- and killed my star WW on a foul.
Can't afford a replacement WW. Going to have to stagger along without him for a while ... which sucks. Two deaths in two games, killing the two best players on the team. This is where being Necro hurts -- all the SPs pooling in the most fragile players. Ugh.

Being what I would consider and experienced Necro coach, I might be able to helpf if you want. Would you be kind to show me how you set up your field on offence and defence? I will give you advice on skill progression, placement of players and style of play..(if you want me to
)if u don't then I will just shut up. If you want a PM or for me to post it here I will.
