It's definately a balance issue - In your case if you are going to keep only 2 vampires for a while I think you could get away with taking Block or Dodge first. Since the vampires are doing a lot of the scoring they are going to need it. I took Block first because our league has a fair amount of tacklers...

I find Pro really usefull to re-roll non-essential OFAB failures, Hyp. Gaze, poor Block rolls & the occasional pass or catch. I save the re-rolls for when I have to blitz with a vamp or want to score, etc. It is especially useful late in each half when you have burned through all your re-rolls - which happens LOTS for me :x

BTW, in our RL league the Halflings are insane - at least 6 AG+ flings (one AG 5), a couple of DP's, a few with Hail Mary Pass, bunch with sure feet, a couple with MA6 & one @7. One Tree with AG 3 & Pass, Block, the other has MA3 Blockle,Pro etc. I played this coach & rolled mostly 3,4,5 on armour rolls :( , then when I beat it, he rolls the same for injury (sigh)

good luck.
