My minis

Post by Count Zappa »

I've never posted any pics of my minis before, but since I have this one handy, what the heck.

That's my wood elves, the Loren Forest Wardancers, about to score once more against the Blazing Giraffes of Middenheim. It was one of the worst drubbings in the 10-year history of the league I'm in. The elves beat the humans 7-1.

I'll see if I can take some decent individual shots of my minis. My painting is average, so don't get your hopes up!

Good to see non-green wood elves!
Also like the dryads. Individual shots would be cool.

Reading my sig was by about three seconds of total waste of time.

Thanks. I'll get around to individual shots when I can talk my wife into taking pics. I'm not good with close-up shots, try as I might.

Here's another wide view from a recent tournament in my league. My Chaos team, the Violent Crimes Unit, is desperately trying to hold off Creeping Death (three guesses at that team's race).

To the left, my best beastman (claw & razor sharp claw) is about to make mincemeat of a ghoul. It was a move which preserved a 1-0 win for my team.

If you're wondering about the player placement, it was late in the 2nd half, lots of players had been KOed and injured, and the beastman had just broken free of the two mummies. The Frankenstein was supporting a ghoul who was knocked out by a Chaos Warrior, who joined the scrum to support the other warrior and the ogre.

This one is from a tournament that's still going on in my league.

The humans are the Kislev Happy Happy Joy Boys (er, I was a big Ren & Stimpy fan 10 years ago) taking on the Executioners.

Well, one dark elf just got in and popped the ball from my 4-strength human thrower. And then the ball went right through the hands of my Griff and landed where you see it. It was just one of those games for my humans. They lost 3-1.

Not the best shot, but here's one I took a while ago of two players on my Orcs, Da Prittee Boyz.

That's Junk and Da Green Macheen.

Two more decent game shots. These are friends' teams.

Erengrad Golden Dragons (humans) vs. X-Men (orcs)

Wi'r'rAtz (skaven) vs. Happy Valley Burrs (dwarfs)

the old one is the far most gruesome, and fitts more in to the 3:rd ed game.
the new one has a cool pose, but doesent in to the 3:rd ed game as much as the old one.

well, thats my opinion.
