Keep him. He's fine for blitzing and getting in the way. Choose if you want to value him though. If you want him to stay around a while use him for blitzing holes with the help of CD guards, or as a sweeper. Or just put him on the LOS, see how he lasts. He'll deal out the pain, but won't stay on the field should he fall over. So don't dodge or GFI unless really necessary. If he gets as far as another skill you could get tackle or strip ball for the sweeper roll.

Rare too for me to listen to others - i can be set in my ways a little.
Ok Chippy Minton lives - no need for RSPCA cage I had planned for him :)

Your Hobgob does not fit into either category. If you keep him, definetely not as line fodder.
That's because you're forgetting a category:

- people who you don't care about in the least, so if they die it's no big deal.

that's the group he fits into; if somebody gets lucky and kills him, that's a guy you were thinking about firing anyway right? That's another player your opponent is NOT hitting, and therefore it's all good. The fact that he's ST4 even makes him pretty GOOD at it. It's a win-win.
