Voted for Sure Feet to improve mobility, but in the whole 3 games i've ever played as Amazons all i got were draws...

Was tempted by PassBlock as a choice as it is occasionally useful, but on the whole SF sees more use.

How does the rest of your team look, and what type of style do you use with this team. How the rest of your team looks should determine how to develop this player. But at first glance I would think sidestep so she can get to the fourth skill and pick up sure feet.

Side Step now (come on, you know it makes sense. park up near their ball carrier by herself and no one dares block her) then tackle later (to do the same but even worse).

I'd go sure feet. She'll skill up quicker with that. but it depends what you want. If you need a defensive boost go side step. If you need help on offence sure feet.

may as well take full advantage of the Ag4, take leap. It will help on offense AND defense.

Well they are Undead, so don't die a huge amount, and have been ridiculously lucky - they have about 10 Magic Helmets on the team now I believe (I witnessed the last two), with a couple of +ST Wights (its still the old 4 Wight lineup), and a Dark Elf Blitzer as an ally (personally I can't wait till my Orcs get the Bull Centaur - only 260K :} ), and a Saurus star player with the freelancer rules (said team is probably going to lose a bunch of players to freelancing itself - so I guess I may have to save up some cash in the hopes of snagging one or two of them.

I was rather happy when I managed to outcas the buggers, and came through unscathed as a TR150 odd Orc team at the time - though I'd actually planned my team with getting smashed by them and now suffer from a bit of TR bloat - still, should be in good stead for next season if I can still play it by then.

I can only see side step as a logicval choice, as it is she is gonna be a massive target for the opposition and if she gets taken out then it could make a massive hole in your gameplan. I thin k you need something to keep her on the pitch and i dont see Sure Feet or leap as achieveing that. More than likely the failure of any of these will just likely mean she'll get mobbed

Ah forgot to mention, if you'd have wanted a more defensive approach which i think you said you didnt the i'd have gone pass block

It depends who you struggle to defend against. If you struggle against orcs but always beat elves, pass bock isn't so good.

If you can win this type of game you are a better man than me, so feel free to ignore my ideas...

For me an ag4 blodge player is the best blitzer on the team - not a catcher. The strength of the race is a uniform blodge side very quickly - that is hard to break down. The major weakness the lack of stats, so any are a blessing. Any role is pretty flexible with cheap rerolls potentially allowing you to ignore surehands/catch/sure feet.

Yeah I find they are a great defensive side. Even throwers get blodge pretty sharp and they can be a real hand full. But as i caa see you arn't scared to use the blitzers to score, and why not as they are good players.

Back to the ag4 with 4RR you can even use her as equal best thrower in the team and pick up with ease. Therefore I would be tempted with either tackle/strip ball/ or sidestep as a blitzer.

Deep in the action your ag4 will allow you move about and if you can threaten the ball no better player can move on through and mop up the ball. Even if you cant do a huge amount bar defend your ground with ag4 you can chuck the ball out of a ruck next turn. No other player on your side will be able to perform this role as well - any player can just get bunged the ball if thats your idea of a catcher as they are all MA6.

Totall bonkers options but I would say tackle or stripball depends on what else in the league. Leap is good but with ma6 its main use in mobility is lost. Yep make her the 5th blitzer of the side and stick to defensive extraction.
