Zombie team - help

Post by Big Steve »

For fun i have a zombie team (undead) on fumbbl (unranked)

9 Zombies
3 skeletons
1 mummy

While i realise that zombie are not known as carnage teams
I intend to try and fill the team out with players i've killed
(already got a woodelf catcher - killed by a zombie :o !!!!)

so what skills\tactics do we recomend ?

I am thinking DP for the skellys - an oldey but a goody

You should go the whole hog:

16 Zombies
6 rerolls
FF 9
10k cash

.... then foul.

This team is only possible in Vault. In LRB Zombies are 0-12.

I'd let you get away with those 4 skeletons :D The mummy is... pushing the envelope...

But for now I think you can use him to make those kills, as soon as you fill up though... he will have to be sacked!

Currently you need more kills, so indeed get DP, some block/tacklers, sure hands (well.. you do want to have a shot at TD's...), but for added fun factor: get skills in the style of the player killed, that catcher should get as many Wood Elf catcher-like skills as possible... Pro (to simulate AG4), Sure Hands (Again), Block (first skill for every catcher), then spend all your doubles on dodge, sidestep, sure feet, and start scoring with him! :o

Oh and kill a few dwarves/black orcs.. you could use the block guard guys...

I like your style of thinking..

I agree about the mummy - soon as the team can stand it he's out

I also think mirroring the skills of the race killed is inspired and will indeed atempt this - in the unlikely even i ever get to skill up a zombie

(althoug i have had a rather proud Zombie TD on game 2, took me 3 turns and 2 re-rolls to pick the bloody ball up to shuffle across the line !!!)

Well, if you want funny from zombies this came pretty close to the 16 dp zombie squad. Not much doubt about Paul's inentions here 8)

http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team& ... _id=164234

The idea here was to get 16 dp zombies on the squad. Not sure about this but I think it is possible at least on Fumbble to get more than 12 LRB zombies by raising the dead.

My Bulls have the "Thin Skull" trait. After every block they make, roll a D6. On a 1+ they get ko-ed and stay in the ko-box for the rest of the game.

FUMBBL allows you to go over 12, as long as they are raised. At one point I was up to 15 but never made it to 16.
