Or at least any comments from theoretical speculation ?
I asked this about a month ago, and I think the general consensus was: DT is ok, but without Tackle it is a bit of a risk, as a player with Dodge can put you on your ass, and then still make the dodge roll second time around. In other words, there are doubles rolls that are a hell of a lot more useful ... e.g. Frenzy or Stand Firm. SF mummies are scary!! :o

Okay,

I thought about it. I think I'll take the +1 MA. Nazgit convinced me: going down and not stopping the dodging player = bad thing.
The mummy will become my 'reaction-mummy' on defense, and on offense the other three (block + guard) will do the work on the line, and the +1 MA-mummy will help to protect the ballcarrier.
Someone wrote mummies = "death walking" ? No no, watch out for my "death running"... :P

Blitzing mummies are always fun. I remember the look on an opponents face when i declared 'the mummy on the ground is going to blitz', got up, gfi*2 and smacked the ball carrier into tomorrow... Very funny and for several games after that i'd try to make a point of having my mummies gfi all over the place (i had 4RR+Ldr) - had one who managed 19 spaces of movement and 4 blitzes in 4 turns, for 2 CAS too 8) :o

Those were the days!

Once again Mo's Marauders clear the field. Can anyone stop them? This reporter doesn't think so!

MA makes him a non-bonehead troll. That's good enough for me.

Id' personnally take Stand Firm, in a Khemri, combine that with a future Guard skill, and you got one solid Cage corner.

I have, I had 2 mummies with it on an undead team. My team was VERY difficult to score against.

Of course, that was back when Diving Tackle was a good skill.

Now all you're doing is spending half the game with one of your more valuable, and slowest players on the ground.

Take Frenzy or Dodge. Much better options.
