Double for DE blodge sidestep blitzer

Post by Moose Cloud »

My blodge/ sidestep blitzer got a double three. What should I pick. I was considering dump-off or jump up.

I'd say depends what the rest of your team has got.

I usually try to give Guard to my line-elves, but you certainly need a reasonable amount of it.

Dauntless is definitely a good choice - that is probably what I would go for.

Dauntless, you need to take care of big guys without bringing all your guys with guard for this one block.

I know dauntless is normaly a good choice but the only hitting team we have in our league is undead. I suppose if I took it I could hope for another double and get multi-block :D

So there are no other players with ST > 3 in your league?

Hmmm.... I'd wonder about Mighty Blow or Nerves of Steel as an alternative then. (Depending on the role you expect for your blitzer.)

Jump up would surely make him a pest, mighty blow would also be an option if you don't want to give him guard. It depends on your style of play. Frenzy is also a nice skill, even though you can have witch elves. With side-step you don't have to worry too much about ending up at the sidelines.

My witch elf already has sidestep so she is a push people off the pitch machine. There are two mummies and two flesh golems but I haven't taken a serious beating since I played the vamps with 1 vamp and six dirty player thralls. I really like jump up. What do you think?

That's another problem. I have played my last game this season and it is unclear whether we will be continuing teams. Mighty blow? Really?
