I think mine and yours are both very good human setups.
Would like to see that setup soon ingame.
Block for the Linemen was something I heard from you  Of course it was in Berlin and you were giving Block to Skaven Linemen, but still the same idea holds: You give a huge boost in reliability.
You will see that setup at the Ghostbowl.
And you are right, I will also mainly try to make a running game, only throwing passes when crucial.

@Flix and Mootaz

I think I understand what kind of game you plan to play, but I think that adding some catchers will greatly improve your versatility. You are able to relocate the ball much faster and switch sides, leaving your opponent behind. Especially against bashy teams I think you need to outrun them, and whereas the blitzers (and throwers) are capable scorers, the catchers can go so much faster and catch and dodge with a built-in reroll! No need for so much TRR then! Against faster teams I think you will be all right, because of the strength skills available on the blitzers, and they have the speed to keep up with them to block them.

I think a catch does not need to be risky, especially with accurate on a thrower as Gorbad suggested.

Whatever, I hope you win anyway, as I think hummies rule!

Personally, I prefer to play with catchers.

Then again, I am yet to play Humans in a resurrection format tourney.

If I did, I'd probably go for:

Tackle on a Blitzer
3 x Guard Blitzers
Accurate on a thrower

Although I would personally never take a human team without catchers, I can see a team with only blitzers, throwers and linemen working. Blitzing and caging your way forward. In that case I am inclined to think that guard on blitzers is more effective that block on linemen. Also if you want to take block give it to the thrower, this makes him a very reliable ball carier who can walk the ball to the endzone without much fear of block/stripballers. I probably take an extra thrower, too. If you should loose your lone thrower in a game early you can be in serious trouble.

Now, if you where to take catchers, skills like side step and diving tackle would make them a nightmare to play against.

Extra Thrower is just not possible, missing 10k
Block on the Thrower makes sense.
My probable skill choices now
1) Guard
2) Kick on Blitzer
3) Block on Thrower
4) Guard
5) Guard

or

1) Guard
2) Block on Thrower
3) Block on Lineman
4) Block on Lineman
5) Guard

Basic Strategy:
Loose cage on one side while blitzing a hole and sprinting a blitzer and a lineman through the other side. Moving the cage forward while threatening a pass to the 2 receivers.

As Gorbad said before, I don't think kick is going to be useful without catchers. My skills (in your case/cage) would be
1) Guard on a blitzer
2) Block on thrower
3) Guard on a blitzer (you really need two guarders to build a real solid cage
4) Stripball / or tackle on Blitzer depending on situation (how high up the tables you are and what type of teams play there)
5) Dirty Player or Block on a lineman

The order might changes as the need arise. I always improvise a little depending on likely opponents and the skills they took.

the problem is that catchers are a big aim (ST 2 and AV 7) and very hard to protect against blitzing players
