My first PBEM game, my first Elf team.
My logic: make a DElf team of Linemen, then pass the ball around a LOT. Win or lose, I wind up with a can't-miss MVP roll, right? Skill up some linemen using this strategy, then work on positionals.
Ha.
Weather roll: brilliant sunshine.
Pass rolls: 2, 1, 1, 3, 4, 2, 1.
Turn 6, second half, losing 2-0: kick-off... changing weather!
Nice!
Pass roll: 1.
Trust me, it's not an exploit.
passing the ball just to get SPP

Well, in my opinion, there shouldn't be any fairplay in Bloodbowl. If you're playing fair with your opponent, it's only more occasions for him to take advantage. The goal of the game is to kick the shit out of your opponent, you're not gonna miss any occasion will you? May that occasion beeing "throwing a 'needless' block" (as gus said, there especially isn't any needless block in bloodbowl, only risky ones) or "making an extra pass just to earn the SPP that I need to give my player the DP skill ... to beat the shit out of my opponent eh!
Seriously, it isn't curling, it's not even football ... it's BLOODbowl dammit!

kick to opponent in first half, GIVE them a quick score, take rest of 1st half to pound elves and score on turn 8.
2nd half, receive, pound more elves and score on turn 8. Win 2-1 every time, er almost every time anyway.
Next time I will NOT score on Turn 2 against a dwarf team..
I'll wait till turn 7 or 8.. and pass the ball..
They can fool me ones but not twice..

So you're just standing around waiting for the fist 6 or 7 turns? Don't you think you'll get beaten to a pulp in that time?
