It depends of the league you play in. But I'd just say in my defence that in this board it mostly focuses on giving advices on how to win the game.

But of course the first goal is to have fun, even if it means painting your orcs in pink or giving your your treeman the diving catch skill. Just don't look at me with these angry eyes (yes those eyes --> )

You are being a bit silly here. I said in my post that +AG was almost useless. So obviously if you are obessed with winning at all costs you should ignore my advice. I even told you too!

Lots of people play BB for fun. Having players with less than optimal skill choices and selection can be considered to add to the whackiness and fun of the game. I like to encourage that mentality since it adds to my personal enjoyment of the game to come across people who've deliberately chosen an odd (or even suboptimal) development path for their team.

So when I'm telling people my advice won't help them win games I consider it a bit ridiculous for the very next post to say it won't help. Giving me the rolling eyes as well is just asking for a slap.

Sometimes when your opponents are gifted enough, only truly insane decisions can shake the game up. I think the +AG mino is a funny choice, but also falls in the "that's so crazy it JUST MIGHT WORK" category.

It's a heck of a thing to pull out of your arse when conventional strategies are going south, anyway. Having your mino frenzy into the ballcarrier, then GRAB THE BALL AND RUN AWAY is no more risky than a "typically risky" pass for an AG3 team. And it's NUTS, so it'll really throw opponents off their game.

of course Matt, i was just answering to doubleskulls's comment, not answering on that specific example. the fact remains that +AG is largely useless, and that, yes, taking a skill deliberately making your team worse than it should, is quite a strange attitude in a game.

I appreciate all the input for helping me decide the skill. I've decided to go with the +AG as I play mostly for fun and I think it's kinda funny. But hearing the sides of the issue really made it make a lot more sense. You guys are great.
