Second Doubles on Kroxigor

Post by Qlars »

I took block the first time, for a second choice should I go Pro?

I heard Frenzy was a good choice, but it is not on the list ???

Your thoughts?

Frenzy is an interesting choice. I'd be tempted to take frenzy. Pro is the obvious choice. Still str5, block, mighty blow and frenzy is an awesome combo.

Tackle! Combined with Prehensile Tail, it would rock! :D

frenzy isn't allowed as it is a general trait.

Stand Firm might be nice with Guard as a next skill, but it would take some time to realise that.

Tackle is a very good suggestion...

Tackle! Kill those dodgy @$#s!

No really, not only does it give you more knock downs and hence more cas, further more it will cause more turnovers for your opponent, as they will have to dodge you with a -1 modifier (due to the tail) without possibilty of the dodge-reroll.

I can just underline what the others already said, a chance like that with 2 Doubles on a Big-Guy.....dont give it away, take Tackle and see the other Teams cry

I'd take stand firm if Tackle wasn't such an excellent choice :) Definitely take the tackle.

Tackle for my money.

Since you've got block you are probably hitting with him a lot so Tackle helps make him better and Lizzy teams are normally tackle light.

I like the Dodge idea...Tackle is good, but he's going to likely be facing off against a gyu without dodge on any team other than well advanced elves...unless you want an unreliable sweeper...

Dodge would be an excellent skill, I would stay away from frenzy because it can really get you into trouble if you frenzy into unfavorable blocks. I would also almost think that Stand firm would be a decent skill... Depending on what your strategy is. Although on a quicker team it might defeat the point. I'd probably end up going with either dodge, or break tackle.
