Travelers new league with Khemry team

I find that the leagues I play in locally aren't used to players being "Blood Thirsty". I use my pro elves like they are a bashy team, I will pick up the ball throw as many blocks as I can and then move the ball. Usually this involves setting up to get 2db on everyone I can. Seem to work really well because people don't actually expect elves to be bashy and the other elven team is essentially doing the common run away strategy that I hate. I'm glad to see someoen doing great with khemri. Also from your match reports it is obvious your probably a bit too good for your league.

round 10: skaven TR 183:182 (me)

A really nice weather invited mighty Pharaohs and scared Skavens. Many Khemri funs came to see the slaughter

. Skavens hired wizard and Khemri called for their mighty Ramut III. Khemri choosed to kick. Bad kick and ball ended in the hands of Skavens 1 turn scorer. Scavens identified Osiris (DP) as worst player and inflicted KO to him. Roaring Rat Ogre forgot to blitz and leaping 1 turn scorer fell down when trying to leap over Apophis. Apophis choosed to blitz Rat ogre. Strong punch and rat ogre ended with damaged back. Skavens imediatelly called for apothecary and he saved him. Next turn Rat ogre roared at the ground from previous pain and forgot to blitz again. But fastest scaven picked up the ball and scored freeing his brothers from cage of mummies and skeletons.
2nd turn for Khemri:
Funs throwed a rock at both teams KO-ing scaven and stunning khemry. Ball ended at LOS leaving all khemry sure hands players far from it. Now the slaughter started. Blitz on rat ogre - injury for the rest of the match, more KO's on linerats. Ra after going for it 2 times trying to pick up the ball failed, his sure hands were not so sure

. ball scattered at Osiris, than at Apophis and finally came to rest at his feets at 4 TZ. Scavens seeing no better chance send his best thrower with AG 5 to get the ball (6). He took it from 4 TS's without the problem dodged and hand it off to 1 turm scorer. But allas time's up and runner within reach of my Sokar

. 3 dice block, reroll - nothing better than push, so push close enough to Ramut and he knock him down. Some foul and more blocks left more skavens in KO and injured. Next round dodging runner ended skavens turn prematurelly(1,1). After 2 more cas on best scavens (thrower and runner) with just last 4 mens on the field with 11 healthy khemris skaven coach choosed to concede.

This means that I won 3:1, got some more gp and my FF is now 12.

Next round I play with humans (not very experienced coach).

Hi,

I don't know is anyone is interested in my reports esp. becasu last 2 game ended too early.

Round 11: TR 179 (me): 165 (amazon)
I played with very unexperienced coach. I expected easy win and it was. He conceded in his 4th round just because he wanted to harm me a bit more.

Our teams met each other in nice wether with Kemry's in really bloodthirsty mood. I choosed to kick as always

. His first turn balllanded in the north east corner. His thrower picked up ball with easy, throwed it but catcher failed. I make some blocks and my Yu pushed one amazon to the crowd which killed her

. Second round Apophis made 3 dice block on amazon and second kill !!! (he used his apothecary on niggling player) On third round after Ball killed his 3rd player he choosed to give up. He used wizard he had KOing one of my mummies. And gave up.

That's a same for my team because of last 3 rounds I do not had a chance to level up my players because I recieved just some lucky cas and few more MVP's.

Now I'm waiting for end of the 11th round and play off will start after it.

You should train you mummies just to do some badly hurts.

Then you opponent will play a bit longer.

I can't blame the 'zon coach for bailing. I don't have to win a game to have a good time, but three deaths in three turns can be pretty disheartening.

Yeah, once the deaths start to avalance like that bailing out is often the only option you have. Playing on with a greatly reduced squad number is a frightening prospect, especially when you're already in a losing mindset.

matkov any other matches in front of you? or the playoffs are ready to start?
i recently applied for a online cup and i had to choose khemri (all other teams have already been chosen)...so i am not sure how well i would do...
first game vs lot of st2 dodge stunty guys...and 2 bombers

my team looks like:

Hi, I'm back again with results of 1st play off round.

It was a nice day where lots of funs came to see the match. Pharaohs prepared very vell for the match and also hired their mighty Ramut III.
Amazons came to the match but fear they had could be seen in their faces.

Amazons choosed to recieve hoping to inflict some early casaulities to Pharaohs. They Badly hurted Heru-Ur II but I regenerated him succesfully. They also knoced Ramut which mad him very angry. After few turns of smashing their defence they passed succesfully with hailmary pass to their catcher which passed around ramut picked up the ball and scored for 1:0 for Amazons.

After that botch throwers become enemy number 1 and both got killed

. After first round amazons leaded 1:0. This made Pharaohs playing more agresivelly and they reached something that seem to be imposssible. 3 TD in one half!

In the end there were just 4 amazons from 12 lying on the ground looking at Cronus going for 3rd TD.

So game ended 3:1 on TD, 6:1 on casualities and 3:2 on passes

for Pharaohs .

3 players got a new level:
Ra (man of the match) : 2 TD + MVP = tackle
Cronus 1 TD = dirty player
Olokun 1 Comp = strip ball

Also Apophis and Sokar are 2 SPP from their second level

.

I must say that it was very easy match. Opponent coach play very bad and he had luck with his TD. I outnumbered him easily and made many 3 dice blocks against his players. Almost all rerolls in the second half I used for catching the ball. I know it is luck to throw correctly but for all three 4+ throws I had reroll. Without some luck with throws it could be 2:1 with no problem.

Now I must wait for the result between Necromatic and Skaven match.

On the other side of play off tree
Undead beaten Lizardmen
and
Dark Elves beaten Skaven getting their fifth AG 5 player

We had a very long break in our league, but finaly I'm back with report from semi-finals.

Dark feezing sky with blizzard was all aroud the whole pitch (maybe work of some wizard payed by Necro team who knows) doesn't scared many fans (128 000) from comming to see their favourite team.

Khemry (195) :: Necromatic (209)

Both teams did their best before match and tried to hire all of the star players they could. So Ramut III choosed not to play at all and necromatic team brought the Luthor with them. We palmed the coin but not in the right way

.

After long break Pharaohs forgot all what they learned they recieved but concentrate so much on offence and hitting that after 4 minutes ball was still just slightly covered right at the central line (good kick from necro team). After few fights and werewolf hurting himself during a dodge (MNM). Second werewolf (ST 4, blodge) managed to score. With suceesful defense first half ended 1:0.

Second one count hynotized mummie and werewolf pushed out dirty player of khemry team. But 2 rounds after he got pushed in the same way out

. But even without werevolves lazy khemry didn't scored at all and must do everything to prevent necro from scoring.

Match ended 1:0 for necromatic. With mnm on werevolf (that will hurt them in the finals)

To the end 3 and half of month of not playing BB was much for me and I did some very bad moves didn't assist as good as I ussually do. As necro team is very vell developed with all players with block and 2 guards and 2 ST increases (werewolf, wight, frenzy and block on golem) I'm not surprised by loosing. But I think that I could win if played properly and choosed to kick in the first half (every time I recieved in the first half I've lost)

Now I willl play with dark elves for the 3rd place.
Finals will be between necro and undead.

Hello mate,
I am impressed - I thought Necro is a team, that can't resist a lot of bashy play. Maybe I should give my necro a second try

I think a scoring problems from time to time occur to Khemri - You just had that time in semis and that's a shame for them.

btw. why did your league paused for those 3 months?

2 coaches had problem to meet and play for that time (Christmas and problems with place, new job from one of them)

I actually think that biggest mistake was to recieve during the first half, I actually had 2 players not playing for whole match so there was no need to scarry of being smashed in the first round.

I'm back with my ?last? post.

Last match for 3 position:

Khemri (195) : Dark Elves (194)

145 000 fans came to see who will win this nasty match. Khemri had very bad score with this Dark Elves from previous matches - 2 looses one from friendly match a nd 1 from oficial league match. So many fans came to see wheter they will break this loosing chain or not.

I choosed to kick. First kick the ball goes high with Kemri looking after it which DE used for quick snap. Ball falled just right into DE touch down zone but unfortunatelly bounced out of pitch

. Few blocks from DE side but after that Khemri get the upper hand. All mumies surrounded a group of elves and start smashing them (after 5 bloocks 2 cas were inflicted), also one DP skeleton came to see if that DE lying on the ground is at good heath

. This changed DE coach mind and he ordered for fast TD which hapened on turn 3.

New setup really strange with 3 DE on the line and all other back in the field far away from mummies

. Ball goes up and again quick snap now from the Khemri side

(those kicking teams should take more care about the play). 3 blocks and all 3 elves down with 1 fouled out of game and he will miss next game too (actually no, because league is over). But maybe because of 4 present mummies referee didn't saw anything. But Olokun (block, stripball Thro-Ra) din't picked up the ball. DE stayed calm
in the back of the field waiting if mummies will come for them or not. My DP fouled next one from skirmish trio KO but referee didn't anything again

. Olokun picked up the ball and start to go for TD. After next 2 turns cage moved toward TD zone and my DP fouled the last elf (from LOS) out of pitch with referee staing calm again. I promise I didn't gave
him any bribes. But unfortunatelly for the Khemri DE witch elf -> one with AG 5 and leap took the ball from Olokun in the last turn

. On my turn he didn't picked up the ball again

so DE had succesfully defended their position.

New round and 11 DE came to fight for the ball

( I had ainflicted about 4-5 KO but all of them returned to play ). Kicker kicked bad but actually right into a middle so nothing bad happened. Few blocks and again same tactics from DE side (all other except the LOS trio far behind) But this turn Olokun didn't picked up the ball for 3 times with his sure hands !!! Elves seeing his 1st fail came on offence but when they came he had the ball. Fight for the ball begun. DE took the ball but pass were intecepted by Apophis (mummie in 2 TZ

). I made some mistake and after next 2 round elves get the ball again

. My Ra (blitz-ra with tackle) came
and made short work with that nasty witch elf, took the ball go for TD. I also fouled that witch elf to death but app save him. DE took all their courage come close and took the ball gain

I took the ball again with Olokun and finally scored TD in the last turn.

So 3rd half started

.

Khemri have 2 RR left DE 1.
I recieved and DE come on defence but actually trying to play very diferent style. 7 of them came at LOS (after 2 halves they were still 11 because 4 new KOed players came back !!! - my second blitz-Ra didn't recovered from his KO from first half at all

)

New kick and the weather changed but nothing really hapened. Olokun didn't picked up the ball again

. I placed some blocks and killed one rockie lineman. After thogh figth at sideline DE witch elf finally blitzed Ra out of ball picked it up and scored golden goal.

So final results:
2:1 for Dark Elves
0:4 casualties
1:10 KO (9 elves returned back to play my blitz-ra didn't)
0:1 interceptions
0:2 kills (one saved by apo)
1:0 completions

DE won 70k, Khemri 50k gold pieces. DE FF goes up to 14 my stayed at 13.

My Apophis got his second level and I throwed 12 during aging throw

and just 8
during level up. So I gave him tackle.

It was really impresive and very interesting match and fun play.

My final results from league are this:
14 matches (11 during premiliar rounds and 3 during play off)

won: 10 Human(2),Amazon(3),Human(4),Skaven(5),Chaos(6),Necromatic(8),Undead(8),Skaven(10),Amazon(11),Amazon(1 PO)
tie: 1 lizardmen (1)
lost: 3 DE(7), Necromatic(2 PO), DE(3 PO)

Number is number of the match and PO means play off.
