Double POW!

Post by bigallium »

rolling double pow = mighty blow

if the player has mighty blow already then they can add +1 to AV AND Inj

brings an added significance to that perfect block

Would you also suggest a =1 modifier to av and inj roll when you roll double skulls?

My thought exactly! If you want a bonus, you would also have to pay the price if you fail! :o

You are just out to get my Bulls again. You meanie :-?

Reason: ''
My Bulls have the "Thin Skull" trait. After every block they make, roll a D6. On a 1+ they get ko-ed and stay in the ko-box for the rest of the game.

There no need for your bulls to get a -1 on AV when they double skull. they die anyway!

So what would happen on a three dice block with two pows and something else, would this still apply? What about three pows? +2 AV, what about 4 pows, it could happen.

Like this idea though, both on the double pow and double skull, has some potential I think. A bit like ultimate force in Warhammer magic

yes good point, I would say for 3 dice blocks you would have to have 3 POW!s. but still only used as MB skill rather than +2AV roll or some such, but that's the beuty of house rules, you do as you wish.

p.s how do you get 4 dice blocks?

Big guy with lots of assists vs a fling or gobo?

You can never get a 4-die block. Maximum is 3: when a player is MORE then twice as strong as the other. So even when a ST 7 Treeman blocks a ST 1 fling 3 dice are rolled....

Greets!

That really decreases the value of Mighty Blow.
