Valen - I truly think that unless they already play then they wont buy them. In the same way that if you got offered Warhammer tickets early (I assume you don't play Warhammer) you wonld'nt go just for the hell of it as you would not have an army and were not interested in the game etc.

I think we are making mountains out of very small mole hills.

I'll buy you a pint in bugmans on Saturday night and we can talk it over.

I don't know why I am defending this so much, am starting to feel guilty for having a ticket now lol.

Darkson - it is easy, it just sounds hard. I can forward you a copy of our club rules and you just change the name, then you have to fill out the child protection forms (which is a bit of a pain) and thats it. The committee thing is just to give it that official edge. I am our chairdude just because it was my idea and thats it. I just get all the post.

Possibly the just the fact that you told everyone made it seem like a bitter pill to swallow?

Honest mate, just slightly bad form (the best colloquialism I could think of). I don't go around bragging about how I get my ticket each year, Modredd didn't show off about how he got his ticket and the officals of the NAF were not saying anything etc etc.

Not a big thing, just something that you may have thought twice about before posting on the largest, most visited Blood Bowl sight in the world.

(by the way, you can buy me a pint when you're buying Gav one in Bugmans, would be nice... )

The fact is there are a lot of INTERNATIONAL people waiting for a ticket. Die hard players who must to call to a phone in a language they dont speak perfect, travel to another country and spend a lot of money just for play their favourite game...

Now, GW instead of help them, selling ticket from web for example, they offer tickets to not-regular players who...whoaaaaaaaaa...organize WFB tourneys!!!! WHAT THE F**K???

And im not blaming the guys for buy their tickets, or as DC says, for tell to us that they get their tickets in not the regular way....im blaming GW for their stupid politics.

Anyway...once again...i'll try to go. Still have a match to play against DC :p better if it's on sunday morning

Yeah man, that would be very cool. I hope you don't mind me wearing sunglasses for the first half on the Sunday, it's just that the lights seem alot brighter when you've only had 5 hours sleep...

Should we end up with NAF members who play multiple BB tournies annually and are mainstays of the international BB Tournament community being unable to get tickets through oversubscription because some 40K/WH players just fancy the weekend and have been given priority then I'm going to be asking some serious questions. :pissed:
Fully 100 of the 200 tickets are available to the GCN.

i don't mind the price increase i really don't, but it annoys me that one set of people get first dibs on something that sells out within hours. I can understand Games Day tickets being offered but not ANY tournament tickets

If there are clearly many more people who want to go that can afford it, then GW could perhaps run heats like they do for WFB and 40K? :)

i don't think that would work as it works well as a one off tourny and the BB scene is not as big as the others (players wise). The whole appeal to me is to compete (in the loosest terms :) ) against 200 coaches and have a winner at the end. Heats would put alot of people off as there are other tourneys they can go to for less money.

Just out of interest are there many 40k or WFB tourneys?
