I'd go with

8x Lino
1x Blitzer
2x Catcher
Apo
4 RRs
1 FF

This is mostly because I find that HE need primarily RRs to get anywhere, and secondly speed. Having the 2nd Blitzer would be really useful, while the 2nd Catcher isn't that necessary - but I can't find that last 10K for the upgrade.

2 dragon - 20
3 lion - 27
1 phoenix - 8
6 line - 42
2 rr
3 ff

You won't have as many rerolls as the above roster, but you won't need them as much because you'll have more skill rerolls...catch on catchers and pass on passers.

No apoth either, but AV8 and 12 players should get you by. If you'd prefer, you could switch a line elf for an apoth and 2ff. Might makes sense with that many position players. Whatever floats your boat.

i totally agree with you for leagues. in fact i'm always one of the first people telling coaches NOT to take throwers on low tr elf teams in leagues because it's better to give completions to line elves to build a more balanced team.

however, in the case of a tournament, it's totally worth 10k to get that pass skill reroll.

besides, even if you don't like the thrower, there were plenty of other differences between the two lists besides that...

Problems i have with HEs is lack of dodge on catchers (Catchers need to be mobile, not just fast) and block throughout. On that basis you need re rolls for dodge rolls and to stop turnovers on blocks. I'd try to get 2 Dragon warriors then as many lions warriors as you can without going below 3 RRs.

I play with Highelves the last two years and i need always a thrower. It is only 10K more than a lineelf costs.

Starting Cockerel:
2 dragonwarrior
4 lionwarrior
1 phoenixwarrior
4 lineelves
3 RR
3 FF

you need the speed. I would give the dragons dodge, the phoenix accurate and the lions leap or sprint.

thx to all for the infos

i like habastas lineup it´s the same i have in mind.

I do not agree with the skill choice.
The dodge for the blitzers is ok. But leap and sprint for catchers?
maybe i should try dodge for the catchers as well.
What about the thrower is it worth to give him a skill like dodge or
sure hands?
One things for sure, with TR110 elves are much more competitive
than on TR100.

Leap can be useful, even for a catcher, in the event that even Dodging out is more risky than Leaping. Sprint less so for High Elves, simply because you usually take Sprint to build a one-turn scorer, though certainly more speed can't hurt, either.

Myself, I tend to take reroll skills with my high elves. With as many chances as you sometimes must take to make a scoring opportunity, the extra chances never hurt. Sure Hands, Dodge, Sure Feet (along with the Pass and Catch you already have on some players) to name a few. Blodge is nice to have on line elves, though too much Blodge will sometimes leave you wishing you had more defensive skills.

This is just my theory, but I think elf teams can do well to take a good number of defensive skills early in their development, because the way most teams play against elves, you get one good chance to score on offense, then must defend the rest of the match (well, against basher teams, anyway). Therefore, you usually have to score at least once on defense to secure a win. Skills like Leap and Strip Ball (ala Wardancers), some Tackle, and Shadowing/Pass Block when your team gets more developed. Mobility skills still have their use too, when you try to surround and pop a cage.

I like habastas line up

I would like dodge on the Dragon warriors

2 catchers with block & 2 with dodge

obviously kick on a lino and accurate for thwoer would be nice aswell.

If your tournie allows a trait allocation then leader could be cool to add a 50k re roll?

Traits after match 3 :D

leader is no bad choice = 4 RR!
But i guess Dauntless is the deal cause i need an answer to those
big guys and mumys and all that strength stuff.

hhhhm... That means only one blitzer with dodge and the other with
dauntless.

the stick's skill list is pretty good except that if you're going to give a skill to the thrower, make it sure hands not accurate.
