If you really want to learn the game, get a dwarf and a wood elf team and try to master both. Then you can play almost everything ...

U think

I don't think that is true (but ok)

I belive (if u learn to play & winn with human u are a good player)

It is not hard tu play a running game with WE allso it is not hard to play a bashing game with dwarf.

Actually, think it's more about compensating for their weaknesses.

For Dwarfs, it's more about proper defensive placements and making do with their stubby legs for.

For WE, it's more about trying to stay out of blocking zones, dealing with AV 7 and possibly being outnumbered due to their expensive players.

ok that makes sense

still i allways sugest a orc team for a newb.
(they are generaly bashing team - most newubns iwe seen tend to like that kind of game - but they soon realize that it isn't the only nor the most eficiant way to win -at that point the orcs give enogh space for play makeing and lots of TD

Go Skaven! They're fun to paint and fun to play, and you get to say, "Squee!" a lot :D

Oh I do too for pretty much the same reasons that you give. I was just giving reasons for what I think Tim's picks for WE and Dwarfs. :)

deffenetly a wery fun team. Proboably one of the most competative.

Cool to dewelop (mutations)
A friend of mine hed a SV called Spreadvenom

7 4 3 8 Block, Claws, Razor Sharp Claws, Tackle,

(needless to say that SV made 2CAS min. per game)

that team offcourse head 1 turn TDplayer

(the only problem of that team was that other players where underdeveloped )

Hey, I'm in the exact boat as you. I've read through the basic rules two times and am now deciding on a team. I've chosen to paint up a Human team to become familular with the game. Then I'll probably start up a different team.
(And the new Human minis are awsome!) :D
