Do not take the name of the true Prince Of Darkness in vain.... Lucy hereabouts will always refer to PrinceLucianus, Dutch Dictator for Life.

If you feel the need to call Geoff by any other name (no don't mention smell), try Orlando

Dats OK - it's our standard way of referring to any team. Eg Amazons @ 1.1 = 4 / 9 / 1 / 4 / 6 with an option of making it 4 / 8 / 1 / 1 / 4 / 4 (p.s. that's a catcher, not a thrower!). More nonsense from those who brought you the BJB!!!

Not even going to dignify "that other post" with a response other than to agree "Lucy" = "Lucianus"

lol - yeah I suppose it does look gibberish. We end up just knowing through use and also because we only use it to express tournament teams. So in the case of Orcs it only refers to Blitzers, Black Orcs and Linos (in that order) as you won't see any of the other players in our Orc teams (they other players are rated as "Liability" through to "Utter Liability")

So I'm Guessing we wont see a line up revolving around 1 Troll, 2 Throwers and 4 Gobo's gracing your board then

Who would want that on a tourney???? For shame Ian!

Although I think it was Miloquaser who took a Troll 4 Gob lineup to the Brassbowl, and had a lot of fun... he lost as much as he had fun ofcourse ;)

After a few weeks deluding myself that 2 rerolls is workable in a tournament, I've gone back to basics:

4 / 3 / 5 / 3 / 1 / 0

That is:
4 Blitzers
3 Black Orcs
5 Lineman
3 rerolls
1 fan factor
(and 0 apothecaries :D)

Skills will be block on the black orcs and guard on two of the blitzers.

Had been thinking about max positionals (i.e. 4 Bl, 4 BOB - throwers not my cup of tea) but I don't want to sacrifice the 12th man or the 3rd reroll.

Two rerolls in a tournament just doesn't work IMO. With the exception of dwarfs (block everywhere + Sure hands), two is a liability.

Anyone else had different experiences with 2RR?

I did well recently with the 4 BO, 4BL, 1 Thr, 2 Line, 1 Apoth, 2 RR, 2FF.

It worked well enough to get me to 2nd. Damn playing against hot dice.

Nuffle will get you every time...

Similarly I like 4 BO, 4BL, 1 Thr, 1 Troll, 1 Line/Gobbo, 2 RR, 1 or 2FF.

Having all Blitzers and 5 players with Str 4+ is awesome....
