couple of questions

Post by sympatico »

Firstly, regarding bombs, in the rules it says that if a player decides to not catch a bomb or the bomb lands in an empty square it will bounce, but what about if the player fails to catch it, does it explode right away or bounce? Secondly, regarding diving tackle, it says that you subdract -2 from the dodge roll but does that include the -1 for the tackle zone of the player with diving tackle, or do you add that for a total of -3?

2. It's -2 to dodge FROM the Diving Tacklers TZ. If you're dodging INTO another TZ (either the Diving Tacklers or another players) you subtract one.
So yes, if you're dodging away from a player with DT into another players TZ, it would be -3, but if you're dodging away into the open, it's only -2.

Not if they catch it.

So if they fail to catch it, it bounces, and if the guy next to them fails to catch it, it bounces again, but the third time it doesn´t bounce but explodes right away? (man this is complicated) :-?

No. If the original players faisl to catch it, it bounces then explodes, regardless of wheter there's a player in the square or not.
