ok guys, we are waiting for the permission to play in the castle :D
meanwhile i'd like to discuus about the rules:
as black orc said, we are going to fix a date (maybe in september) and we'll use the rules that will be official in that date.
Farina (our team captain) is thinking to play the tournament at 1.100k with all the skills (4+1 trait) given at the start of the tournament.
Farina thought so, to give all the races the opportunity to be competitive.
But before deciding the rules we'll adopt for eurobowl, we'd like to discuss it with you!!! What do other team captains think about that?

I'm not really the dutch team captain but I do think I've got his permission to speak ;-)

I think 110 or 100 K is not that much differen. I'm not sure about all the skillz in advance .. but I can't really be bothered tbh, BB is BB in any case.

LRB 5.0 would be nice though

The skill at the start of the tournament could be better for some teams (elves for example) which normally are not so competitive...
In that way, every race should be competitive

i'm not really fussed, would make a change to use some diff rules

as long as they are sorted before the start shouldn't really be a problem

Hehe, well I have no connection with the English Euro team and have no permission to speak on their behalf! :o

But I still think it is a nice idea, a different twist that will make the tourney unique for that year...

1.100 K and skills in advance. OK. I mean anything is OK as long as I can play BB.

Well I think the official rules should be used yes, but I´d like to know in time to practice them :)
Also 1.100 and skills in advance can be a good idea.
It certainly makes the Elves stronger, which is a good thing :)

I agree with you topper :) but i'd like to know which rules will be official...
As i said in a post before, we'll fix a date and we'll use the rules which will be the official ones in that date: i think it's the best thing to do :)

BotzBembelBowl had the 1100k limit and one skill selection before every game. Elves came out strong in the end - I think at least 3 out of the first 5 Woodelves and one being the winner ...

Top 5?

Not to forget the Dwarfs which are at Tr 110 just uber! :D

Seriously... why to get away from the TR 105 tourneys which were invented in italy. Also this, and skills in advance will hopefully take away that the first skill like at the last Eurobowl was in 80% Dirty Player.

But if you look at this table you may have a point.

1 Wood Elf Flix 18 11 - 5 10 - 7 0
2 Dwarf Glorian Underhill 18 12 - 7 10 - 3 0
3 Wood Elf Muadib 16 16 - 10 13 - 8 0
4 Lizardman Kithor 14 11 - 6 10 - 10 0
5 Wood Elf Culle 14 11 - 7 7 - 6 0
6 Wood Elf Frank 14 11 - 7 4 - 13 0
7 Wood Elf Gorbad 14 10 - 7 4 - 10 0
