chaos team for newb?

Post by sssid »

I have played my first 3 bloodbowl games on fumbbl and have the chaos team to be well discouraging, but it looks like it is finally swinging up. here is my team http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team& ... _id=267280 my main concern is on when to replace my niggling player and are their tactics i should use to increase my players spp points, passing a little but mostly that is disastrious. I don't plan on winnging for awhile. My main tactic is to cage, is there one better suited for my team currently. Thanks ahead of time for advice

Looks like a rough start. No scores in 4 games? pretty brutal indeed. Why do you have a cheerleader?

Save money to max out your warriors. Focus on scoring cause that's the most reliable way to get spps. With block on a few beasts you can reliably blitz so try and move your cage without throwing blocks using your blitz to free up players then you can throw blocks at the end of your turn when a failed action won't result in a turnover. That's the general idea but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.

I would say that Chaos is the wrong team to learn the ways of Fumbbl with, especially in the [A]cademy division. Choas suck at any level within the TR limits of this division.

I can of course not tell if you are new to the game as a whole, or just to Fumbbl. If you are quite new I would suggest trying to study the basics using Humans, or second choice Orcs.

Humans are the ultimate team in the middle, who can basically choose between all styles of play available to Bloodbowl teams. This allow you to experiment some, and find the style that suits you best.

Look me up on Fumbbl if you need a practice game.

My Bulls have the "Thin Skull" trait. After every block they make, roll a D6. On a 1+ they get ko-ed and stay in the ko-box for the rest of the game.

I think starting again fresh is a good idea. I like the choice of orcs. Durable and have skills with good str. It's easier to learn when you are having fun rather then fustrated over getting crushed every game.

Good luck with the new team.
