I will be attending a tournament within the next month and I am thinking of taking either a Human or Necro team. I am undecided as to which team would be more competitive. I have played the last 6 months with Humans and I just don't know if they would be competitive enough. The format for the tournament is 1,000,000 gc for team roster. You get 2 skills that can be given to any players at the start. All injuries and casualties are erased after every game and you start the next game with begining roster with exception of one skill roll ( to be randomly distributed) done after every game.
I need suggestions about which would be better and also suggestions on starting team.
Should I take a Human or Necro team for tournament play?

necros, IMO
because they do have block, can score, and with those two skill options you can be looking at blockiing werewolves from game 1
not saying defo give them block, or use th skills on the, but its an example.

Thanks for the advice. I was thinking about that. Especially with teams like Orcs and Lizards who have the option of more than 1 ST4 guys.

yeh, and they can make some decent teams.
you'll have werewolves, wights, flesh golems and ghouls who are very good players.
for skills id use block. have you got a team roster yet? because depending on what players you take and numbers wise, giving block (or dodge on wights?) will be crucial. if you could post it itd be useful
