Whoa 3rd Doubles Ogre!

Post by Underdog »

My Star Ogre just got his third double!

He's currently: MA5 ST5 AG2 AV9; BH, TS, TTM, MB, Block, Surehands, Break Tackle and now I have the decision between Dodge or Pro (and to a lesser extent tackle).

I'm leaning towards Dodge for the hardest-to-stop-ball-carrier in history ;).

What do you guys think?

This is an Ogre team.

Go for Dodge. Combines nicely with Break Tackle and makes you harder to bring down. You don't need Pro so much because your Ogres can use Rerolls. Stand Firm would be another choice to give you free dodges with the ball carrier.

Go for dodge.
He is the hell of a ball carrier. It is not so easy to get the ball from when he managed to pick it up....

I'm surprised he's gotten a 4th skill roll.

With the skills he already has, it has to be Dodge. Not many players have Tackle and either the high ST or Dauntless needed to take him out.

Btw, this is an example of why I think Ogre teams should not exist. There is always the potential for monstrosities like this.

Naz this team has still lost its last 3 games (and I won the league two seasons in a row befor starting this team) and I'm going into my next game with only 3 fit Ogres too, so a fourth loss is on the cards.

They have plenty enough draw backs to counter-balance the potential lucky rolling monstrositys.

Trust me, the Ogre team is fine.

Why not consider strip Ball ?

Breaking tackle into a cage with this monster to skake a ball carrier might provide hours of amusement.

One more vote for Dodge here, it just combines so nicely with ST5 and Break Tackle :D and keeps him alive longer.

As he's playing in an Ogre team, I wouldn't choose Pro.

Lastly, Tackle might be nice, it's this one very usefull skill that I have missed second most on my own Ogre team (after Block  ).

Cheers
