If the mummies keep the block, then they should be priced the 30k for that skill to pay for it. Who cares if the earned it with non doubles rolls ?

I've seen Orc teams with Four agility 4 blitzers. That is less common than 4 sets of doubles.

How does a Khemri team or two with 4 block mummies with a doubles only skill on each mess things up?

More than one? I'd call the first one a cheater. The second I'd probably just punch in the face.

Yes I have seen 2.
One I wonder if he cheats.

The other, no I know he doesn't as he's not liked in the league and each opposing coach verifies all skill rolls. No -one especially 4 different coaches) would verify that type of lie.

Yeah, it shouldn't be a problem as they'll eventually die. Also I'm aggressively retiring my Mummies if they don't roll a doubles/Stat increase by 31SPPs anyway. So eventually my team will have a higher proportion of Block Mummies (hoping), PBBL/LRB 5.0 has to be able to cope with 4 Block Mummies as they're a very real possibility.

The way I see it is like this the further up you go in the SPP progression the larger the gaps become in trying to reach that next roll.
6, 10, 15, 20, 25, 100...
and Mummies don't become faster at gaining SPPs from Strength skills except by getting Piling On. As it's 31 SPPs to the third roll and then an extra 20 to the roll after that I think it's easier to retire the Mummy and get a new one who will have 2 chances of getting Block faster than the other higher skilled Mummy gets 1.
Of course it helps that we're a long term league with teams rolling over from season to season and that Mummies start with Mighty Blow. So I can invest in a long term plan like this.

No, that's the kind of roster LRB 4.0 Dirty Player and Get the Ref were created for. ;)

Had a chainsaw player attempt to take out my troll on their 1st turn, failed the armour roll. On my 1st turn the troll struck back, putting the chainsaw guy into the ground with a Badly Injured result and therefore out of the match for the rest of the game. Good way for my opponent to spend 80k of inducements huh?

I'd prefer this option. But, in addition, the player "retiring" could be marked as an assistant coach.
In that case they don't leave the team but go for a job on the side-lines, sharing their expertise with the current players (fluff-wise, I mean)

A small return for the loss of a possible good player.
